The Supa Wide Web was created to round up all of the good stuff on the internet, bring it to a nice boil, and serve it as a tasty stew on our website. You can find all of the hottest news and multimedia you are looking for whether you are in to PC gaming and console gaming, music and movies, gadgets and gizmos, social networking and blogging, physical fitness and hiking, or just about anything else you can think of.

Twitter and Facebook Post HUGE Traffic Gains in March

I was reading an article over at Mashable today, and it was showing how much Twitter and Facebook have grown in traffic for March 2009. (See Graph Below) No doubt both sites are on a tear through the Internets at blazing speeds, but there seems to still be a true king.

Circuit City is Closed.

While I was at work today, I heard some coworkers talking about that Circuit City was closing. I didn't think much of it and kept on doing what I was doing. I figured they were doing it soon, so I wanted to check out their website to see what sort of sales are going on for the closing. I did not expect to see what I found.

Windows 7 Beta First Impression

Earlier today I found that the Windows 7 beta launch Friday that was postponed on their website, did not hinder those with some technical skill to get the ISO and the product key from Microsoft themselves. I decided to install it right away and chose the 64-bit version since I have an AMD 64-bit processor right now. Read more about my first impression of the Windows 7 beta after the jump.

Windows 7 Public Beta Delayed, but still Available

Officially, Microsoft has posted a statement on the Windows 7 beta download page stating:

"Thanks for your interest in the Windows 7 Beta. The volume has been phenomenal—we're in the process of adding more servers to handle the demand. We're sorry for the delay and we'll re-post the Beta as soon as we can ensure a quality download experience."

Getting your old site data back online from a MySQL dump

Well, it has been a long and hard road for the Supa Wide Web. To make a long story short, someone injected some bad code into one of the posts on our old Wordpress install and got the site flagged as a malware site, along with also eventually losing all of our trust with Google as our Pagerank went to n/a. Hopefully with a fresh install and no bugs, we can start to rebuild the site, and our trust with Google. Speaking of rebuilding, read more for what I have been able to get back online from an old MySQL dump so far.

We're back!

Ok, I know it has been a while, but we are back online! We had some sort of an exploit used on our old Turdpress installation and the site got hosed. We are going to try and bring back as much content as possible, but with some work this will be a much better site than before. We hope you check back here and there to see the progress on the new Drupal design. We are sorry for the long downtime, but other websites that we have been working on have been taking the cake.
